Super glue can be used for a lot of different things around the house, like making things. It is best for things like broken glass, crockery, and other hard things that don’t break. Because it is a strong glue, it should not be used for kids’ craft projects or on paper or other soft and porous materials like paper. Make super glue at home with the right ingredients and methods. You can always have it on hand for those quick projects.
Step 1
Mix 3 tablespoons of gum arabic with a half teaspoon of water and 1 tablespoon of glycerin. This will make a paste.
Step 2
Stir in a bowl until it’s all mixed together. Make sure the mixture doesn’t get hot or get cooked in any way. Ready to go when mixed.
Step 3
You should apply a thin layer of glue to both of the surfaces that you want to glue together so that they stick. Use a matchstick or some other small tool to spread the glue all over the surface. Avoid putting glue on your skin or clothes.
Step 4
The glue may take up to an hour to dry. Leave the project alone for 24 hours to let it harden before you use it or wash it.
Step 5
If there is any left over or extra homemade super glue, put it in an airtight container. : Keep for a year
